Well, here we are May 7, 2010 and we are still waiting for Spring. Can't plant flowers or tomatoes. We have gotten some trees planted and fertilized but with the wind, cold and rain it is still like late winter. The yard is looking great but bare without some flowers.
We painted the Master bedroom, bath and closet and now waiting for the carpet to come in. Next year it will be the kitchen floor and painting. I am learning again, there are not enough hours in a day to do all I want to do. Larry has to give me a time limit when I go outside to play in the soil. I just want to work from sun up to sun down. But my body is telling me it doesnt' want to work that hard any more.
We had a garage sale last Friday and Saturday and again this Friday and Saturday. We made about half of the money it will take to go back to Kentucy. I am excited as I have always wanted to see that part of the country. We will be stopping on the way back to see Coleen and some of my other step-siblings.
We are traveling to the Manti Pagent in June with the youth of the ward. I am excited for Larry to see it. We and another couple are going to fix the meals for the youth on the trip. On Saturday we will take them to Lagoon and let them stay until it closes. Then we will be on our way home. I am hoping Larry and I can leave once we get them to Lagoon and just come on home.
We will also have a Marks Family Reunion in June. The weekend before we go to Manti. When we get back from Kentucy for an RV Rally, we will be going to Corde Alene' for a grandsons baseball tournament. And then spend a week or so up there. We are taking the boat so we can sleep on the river. I have wanted to do that for a year and a half now.
We are taking the girls to Mother's Day brunch tomorrow. Natalie and Steve are here with Brittany and Matthew and we all be together with Nancy and Justin and maybe DeVonne and Brennen. Although we haven't heard from her yet. Larry bought his daughters a flower.
Wrote a little note to each one of my girls to wish them a Happy Mother's day. It seems like the time as just flown by that my little girls are Mothers too.
We are enjoying life soo much. I am so happy and we are always busy working together and doing things together. It is much better to have someone by your side than to be alone.
